Have you ever stopped to think about your relationship with money? We all have a money mindset, or a set of beliefs and attitudes around money that shape our financial decisions and behaviors. But many of us don't take the time to really understand our money mindset, which can hold us back from achieving our financial goals.

So how do you start to understand your current money mindset? Here are a few questions to ask yourself:

1. What are your beliefs around money? Do you believe that money is hard to come by, or that you'll never be able to get ahead financially? Or do you believe that money is abundant and available to you if you work hard and make smart choices?

2. How do you feel about money? Do you feel anxious or stressed when you think about money, or do you feel confident and in control? Your emotions around money can give you clues about your money mindset.

3. What are your financial habits and behaviors? Do you save money regularly, or do you tend to spend everything you earn? Do you have a budget, or do you fly by the seat of your pants when it comes to money?

4. What messages about money did you receive growing up? Our upbringing and early experiences with money can have a big impact on our money mindset. Did your parents talk openly about money, or was it a taboo subject? Did you grow up with a lot of financial stress, or were you comfortable financially?

Once you've answered these questions, you can start to identify patterns and themes in your money mindset. Maybe you realize that you have a scarcity mindset, and that you tend to worry about money even when you have enough. Or maybe you realize that you have a lot of limiting beliefs around money, like "money is evil" or "rich people are greedy."

The good news is that once you understand your current money mindset, you can start to make changes. You can work on shifting your beliefs and attitudes around money, and developing new habits and behaviors that support your financial goals. You can also seek out resources and support, like financial education or coaching, to help you on your journey.

Remember, understanding your money mindset is the first step towards unlocking abundance and achieving financial freedom. Take the time to reflect on your relationship with money, and start making changes today.

Well hello there.

I see I have piqued your interest enough to make you say who the heck is that Mandy lady…I have been an entrepreneur for just about as long as I have been an adult.

I spent much of my time working in the accounting and tax industry and gained a wealth of knowledge and skills that have helped me truly manage the financial aspects of business and life. I get entrepreneur finance because I am an entrepreneur. I understand that a bad month in business usually means a bad month in personal finance also.

Our income fluctuates, it is never guaranteed, and we hustle every damn day to earn our money. Which makes any sort of financial goal a little more difficult. I have been an entrepreneur with a wildly successful business but I was broke.

I have been an entrepreneur who didn’t know how I was going to feed my kids at the end of the day, standing in line at the grocery store, praying the electric bill hadn’t cleared yet so I could buy groceries… because feeding my kids was more important than having lights on at night.

I am an entrepreneur who knows the importance of budgeting and planning and saving and doing it all in a way that doesn’t make me want to run and hide or make me feel like I CAN’T do the things I want to. I geek out with spreadsheets and finance and numbers and money.

I love sharing my geekiness in a way that allows you to ‘get it’ and how it will work for you. It isn’t one size fits all when you are an entrepreneur, so helping you find the way that works for you is my goal. So now that you know more about me, reach out and say hi!
